Niger Tornadoes coach, Majin Mohammed, has attributed wasted opportunities to his team’s scoreless draw against Ikorodu City.
The Ikon Allah team settled for a 0-0 draw with Ikorodu City at the Bako Kontagora Arena, Minna, on Saturday.
Mohammed, however, praised Ikorodu City’s impressive current form in the league.
“We created openings but didn’t make use of them,” Mohammed told Niger Tornadoes official media channel.
“Ikorodu City aren’t a weak team. They found their rhythm since the new coach stepped in, and they’ve been consistent.
“I believe they’ve suffered just one defeat in many matches, but that doesn’t mean they’re unbeatable. The outcome would have changed had we converted our chances.”
